ＦＢＩ捜査官ショーン・アーチャー（ジョン・トラヴォルタ）は、凶悪なテロリスト、キャスター・トロイ（ニコラス・ケイジ）に、6年前、幼い息子マイケルを殺された。幾多の犠牲を払い、空港での大捕物の末、キャスターを逮捕したアーチャー。だが、キャスターは逮捕直前に、ロサンゼルスを壊滅させるほどの威力を持つ時限式細菌兵器爆弾を仕掛けていた。植物人間になったキャスターはもとより、彼の弟のポラックス（アレッサンドロ・ニボーロ）も兄以外の人間は信用せず、爆弾のありかを聞き出すことは出来ない。焦るショーンに極秘指令が下る。キャスターの顔の皮膚を移植して彼に成りすましポラックスに接近せよというのだ。ショーンは悩んだ末、家族にも明かすことのできないこの任務につくことを決意した。

Only thing wrong with this movie was the length. Much too long. But everything else is perfect.

Okay, this movie is just pure camp. You have the most over the top actors, and over the top director, and an over the top script, which all make for just amazing viewing. It is genuinely good at times, but I enjoy this mostly just as a popcorn flick. Highly recommend it.
