This one was not for me - not after seeing the original animated version of "The Grinch". First of all, I'm not confident that it's entirely appropriate for kids. And because of that, the spirit of Dr. Seuss's story is lost. Just watch the original.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a take on the classic Dr. Seuss book of the same name. Jim Carrey delivers such a great and convincing performance as the Grinch. With its colorful scenes and whimsical outfits, this movie is perfect to watch during Christmas, especially with its heartwarming message.

Not kidding when I tell you I watch this movie every single December to get myself in the Christmas mood. I've been watching this movie since I was a little girl and theres just something very nostalgic to me about the Grinch. A very pure movie about love, kindness, and the magic of Christmas. Give it a watch in December!
