I actually wanted to hate this film, I never really found Will Ferrell's humor very creative, but I actually enjoy this Christmas film. The fact that it is practically added to the Christmas classic, it has tone good. I would recommend anyone who hasn't watched it to add to their Christmas film binge list.

Elf is a Christmas classic that has to be watched every year during the Christmas season. Will Ferrell is effortlessly and childishly hilarious in this film. Everyone should watch this movie.

"Elf" is a completely silly movie, but it's also heartfelt and sweet. Of course, the plot of a human "elf" escaping the North Pole and arriving in NYC is fairly ridiculous, but the resulting story is relatable and not as shallow as you might expect. "Elf" doesn't get old as a yearly family Christmastime movie.
