ジェイミー（ミラ・クニス）は、ニューヨークを拠点に有能な人材のヘッドハンティングを仕事にしていた。彼女は、ロサンゼルスで活躍する敏腕アート・ディレクターのディラン（ジャスティン・ティンバーレイク）をニューヨークに招待する。その目的は、彼のヘッドハンティングだったが、会話を重ねるうちに自分たちの恋愛観が似ていることに気づく。2人ともあまりに多くの恋愛で失敗を重ねてきたため、諦めることに慣れ、恋愛そのものを楽しむことができなくなっていたのだ。ジェイミーの説得で転職を決めたディランは、ニューヨークで暮らすようになる。たちまち仲の良い友達関係になる2人。お互いにまったく恋愛感情を持たずに。しかし、ある時ジェイミーがもらした“セックスしたいわ”という一言がきっかけで、2人の関係に変化が訪れる。

A slightly different romcom between Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake. Although the plot is obvious from the beginning and the title, friends become romantically entangled but try to keep emotions out of it. It's a much more realistic film about relationships and doesn't have too much of the soppy storylines that were used to. Although, obviously there has to be some kind of big romantic gesture to make the ending of the movie spectacular and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy.
