Creed is the type of movie that gives a nod to and echoes the plot of the legendary boxing franchise, Rocky. Director Ryan Coogler offers the audience a contemporary, mainstream view upon this genre in an interesting and exhilarating way. The focus on pride and identity are very enjoyable elements to watch, especially since we see such character determination from pride to vulnerability to strength.

You will probably like this movie if you ever watched one of the Rocky saga. The song of an old legend prepares to fight for his dreams and career at the ring. Emotional and engaging, this movie is a must watch.

Ryan Coogler’s epic boxing film that pays homage to the Rocky films is such a great transition into the modern day. He brings us inside the ring where we get our butts kicked, hit the ground, and get back up. Michael B Jordan asserts himself as an actor to be reckoned with in this film and we believe every second of it because the actor really put himself through this process to get to that state. A remarkable film that creates its own new path as well.
