팀버튼이 가장 잘하는 것! 그치만 주인공의 분장이 조금 아쉽다. 그다지 매력적이지도 않고 칼리가리박사가 만든 인조인간과 머리스타일이 비슷함. 표현주의와 고딕전통의 유산이라는 면에선 내 취향에 들어맞음!

좋은 감독과 좋은 배우들이 모였으나 결국에는 중구난방으로 흩어지고마는 전형적인 팀 버튼식 평-망작. 이 감독이 과연 다시 돌아올 수 있을까

Dark Shadows is undeniably entertaining and nothing else. There are things that could have been better, it just needs a better ending that gives consistency to the story. Dark Shadows is not bad, it's just unsatisfying. It has the color, life, and all but what's missing is proper plot development.

This film is actually one of the best of that year. If you want to know what budding young relationships look like in America these days, this is the most pleasurable tutorial you'll ever see.

As a fan of any horror comedy, I added this to my wish list. I am a fan of many actors and actresses in this film, such as Chloe Grace Moretz; so I really want to see the film. I do admit after looking at reviews. I am not expecting much.
