エピソード1より10年後。オビ＝ワン・ケノービ（ユアン・マクレガー）と、彼の熟達したジェダイの弟子へと成長したアナキン・スカイウォーカー（ヘイデン・クリステンセン）は、いまや高名な元老院議員となったパドメ・アミダラ（ナタリー・ポートマン）と久々に再会。パドメは暗殺の標的にされているのだが、その謎を突きとめようと、オビ＝ワンは銀河の辺境へと旅立つ。そこで出会ったのは、かつては崇敬されたジェダイ・マスター、しかしいまは分離主義運動の主導者となっていたドゥークー伯爵（クリストファー・リー）。一方、残されたアナキンはパドメを警護するが、二人の間には恋心が芽生えていき、恋愛を禁止されているアナキンは苦悩する。

As a large fan of the tremendous Star Wars franchise... I am not going to put this easy or let this slide... But Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones was absolutely and extremely painful to watch. Even the action scenes felt repetitive and lack luster. And don't even get me started on Padawan Anakin Skywalker... who was too emotional and too moody throughout the entire movie. To be honest, young Jedi Obi Wan Kenobi and the acting of Ewan McGregor was the only good thing notable about this episode in the Star Wars series.

恋愛映画の様な部分はあまり好きじゃなかったです。 スターウォーズはとにかく派手であってほしかったです。 ヨーダがかっこよすぎました。

Arguably the worst in the franchise, since it is just so dull. You have almost forgotten about this film the second it is done. It has some decent moments here and there, and I do still love the star wars universe, so I had a better time with this film than many others.

It's no secret the prequel Star Wars films are not good, and this is just a perfect example of why. It's slow, it's boring. Even the action scenes that should be entertaining are just not. Also the main character, Anakin, is so unlikable it's surprising that he can actually exist. Watch this film if you want cause it is a part of the Star Wars universe, but it's not really worth it.
