自称青年実業家のマイク（チャニング・テイタム）は、夜になると男たちが華やかなレビュー・ショーを行うクラブ“エクスクイジット”で、女性たちを熱狂させる人気No.１のストリップ・ダンサー“マジック・マイク”として活躍していた。ある日、知り合った19歳の青年アダム（アレックス・ペティファー）に才能を見出したマイクは、彼をクラブに連れてゆく。その予想通り、即興で大胆なヴァージン・ステージを飾ったアダムはクラブの一員に迎えられ、マイクの手ほどきによって人気ダンサーの座に駆け上がる。それに合わせて、大金、女、クールな仲間との付き合いにどっぷり浸かってゆくアダム。その一方で、堅実なアダムの姉と知り合ったマイクは、自分が本当に求めていた人生に気づき始める……。

This movie is perfect for a girls night or bachelorette party, but not many other venues. I feel it would not appeal to a male audience, as much of the movie’s appeal is based on the attractiveness of the actors. It is a rather shallow movie but nonetheless is entertaining, particularly for women.

I realllly wanted to like this movie, especially because Channing Tatum strips in it, yum. But besides him stripping, there’s really not much of an interesting story line or plot.
