イスタンブールで要人警護の職務を終えた元CIA秘密工作員ブライアン・ミルズ(リーアム・ニーソン)は、ホテルのロビーで元妻レノーア(ファムケ・ヤンセン)と娘キム(マギー・グレイス)を迎え入れる。彼の願いはこの休暇で家族の絆を完全修復することだった。だが翌日、イスタンブールの名所のバザールに二人で出かけたブライアンとレノーアに、不気味な影が忍び寄る。2年前、パリでブライアンに息子たちを殺害され、怒りに燃える初老のアルバニア人、ムラド(ラデ・シェルベッジア)が大勢の手下を引き連れ、復讐計画を企てていたのだ。不審な尾行車を察知したブライアンは、ホテルに戻るように耳打ちしたレノーアをバザールの入口で下ろし、一味との怒涛のカーチェイス、そして激烈な乱闘に身を投じていく。

I loved the first Taken, I thought it was amazingly well done and touched on a real issue of young women being kidnapped and sold into the sex trade, which we don't often hear about. The ending was especially moving. However, this film is slightly repetitive and this time the wife is taken. So it's much more predictable, and doesn't have the realistic element that the other had. Despite this, it is still a good thriller if you're looking for something fast and full of suspense.

속편들은 1편을 이길수 없는건가.. 그냥 이젠 가족들이 다 답답해졌다.. 이것도 1편과의 의리로 본 그냥 그런 영화 ㅎ
