Goes back to the original Godzilla formula but manages to do something new. the acting can be very Japanese, and not in a good way. the unique twists help to heighten the plot.

As solid as Godzilla itself Very well executed, the movie knows how to brilliantly balance the monster scenes and the characters scenes. Every scene felt relevant and interesting. The actors do a good job, especially Minami Hamabe who shows visceral emotions. On a technical level, the most creative shots and use of colours are in scenes where humans fight the kaiju. Overall a very good movie. It doesn't really do anything new, but everything it does is well mastered. Some of the effects might age with time, but the movie itself won't. I know I will watch it again, and I will love it again.

Final a good fucking Godzilla movie. it will be hard to top it. amazing vision turned into reality with many nods to the originals. Welcome to the new area of Godzilla. 4 Stars because it is a little long.
