I expected A LOT more from this movie than what it actually delivered. The visuals were amazingly detailed and the costumes were excellent, but somehow (perhaps the most important piece) the acting was flat and often not quite believable. It could have been so much better.

This sequel to the remake of Alice in Wonderland is wonderful! haha.. But, seriously, the plot of full of adventure that we get to see more of Wonderland and its inhabitants. It expands our imagination of just how wondrous Wonderland really is.

I think the graphics, costume design and overall set design is really unparalleled. This film looks amazing, and for that reason it's a really amazing film to watch, mainly because the visuals are insane. The storyline continues from the first film, and I think you do probably need to watch the first in order to understand what's going on. Alice is no longer a child, and at 19 years old finds her way back down the rabbit hole and into Wonderland, reuniting with her old friends. However, they've fallen from where she left them, and Alice realises that her destiny is to end the Red Queen's reign of terror. The film also sticks quite closely to Lewis Carol's book 'Alice through the looking glass' and I think he'd be impressed with how the film maker's have managed to bring the book to life.
