2012年。イエローストーン国立公園に子供たちとキャンプに訪れたジャクソン・カーティス（ジョン・キューザック）は、謎の男チャーリー（ウディ・ハレルソン）から“地球の滅亡”が近いことを知らされる。しかもその事実を世間に隠している各国政府は密かに巨大船を製造し、限られた人間だけを脱出させる準備に着手しているという。そんな中、ロサンゼルスで史上最大規模の地震が発生、さらに各地で大地震や大津波、大洪水、大噴火が起こり、その被害はアメリカ全土へと拡大していく。

It’s a good end of the world disaster movie. I enjoyed it. The Dolby Atmos track on this is excellent. Makes all the chaos come to life. The bass on the scenes that utilize it heavily shake the room. Worth a watch.
