First watch, I was impressed with the attempt at keeping the film terrifyingly spooky and keeping you on edge at what could come next. The creature effects are too notch creepy and the imagery of what we're seeing will Haunt some, if lucky. I really enjoyed the game in total Darkness and with the sound coming through my stereo with the bass deep enough to feel their foot steps. I'm always ready for the 100th+ watch.

greatest fear when I was child

久しぶりの映画 しかしながら、ちょっとがっかりしてしまった。 映像はよかったけど、ストーリーがいまいち。なんか腑に落ちない。 サイレントヒルのゲームをした友達にどんな内容のゲームか聞いてみたけど、ゲームの内容が内容だっただけに映画もこんな感じなのね。。。ってちょっと納得した。 まぁ、忠実に再現してあったかな。 ☆☆★★★　2.5点　ストーリー性がない

Made from a video game, one wouldn’t expect a Silent Hill movie to be able to capture all the lore of the intense games they’re based on, and naturally they don’t, however the film is still very good in its own right. Rather than the plot, the visuals, exploration of the town and return of notorious villain Pyramid Head and key points for viewers. I honestly don’t remember the plot, but I enjoy the games so much that seeing them brought to life in the film was enough to make me want to see it again. The creepy world that changes in the blink of an eye was beautiful and terrifying. The characters involved were based on the game, however I think they could have done more with what they were given, since the games have such intense and extensive character plots. No matter this, the movie is still visually stunning and worth a watch.
