高校を卒業し、翌日には都会の大学へ旅立つことになっているカート(リチャード・ドレイファス)とスティーブン(ロン・ハワード)は、高校生活最後の夜を思いっきり楽しもうと、いつものたまり場にやってくる。そこには、仲間のテリー(チャールズ・マーティン・スミス)や、走り屋ジョン・ミルナー(ポール・ル・マット)も集まってきていた。奨学金をもらい、大人の期待を背負って進学するカートは、大学に行かずこのまま街に残ろうかと悩み、一方でスティーブは、早く田舎を離れて都会に行き、大学生活をエンジョイしたいと考えていた。彼らは、それぞれ様々な思いを胸に街へ繰り出していくが、夜が更けていくにつれ、その思いも少しづつ変化していくのだった・・・。

It may be an older movie about a time period long gone, but this story of high school graduates in the 1960s is still entertaining and relevant today. People I know who actually lived through this era (I did not) say that this movie is a great representation of what life was like back then - though at its core, this story is timeless.

Dang I love this film! A fun film taint place in the best era with a focus on all the nostalgic things we love. I would highly recommend it!
