Hilary Swank proved to be one of the top actors in this exciting boxing dramas about a woman who undergoes a serious accident and is forced to face a life where she cannot do the one very thing she loves to do. It pained me to watch this and I haven’t seen it in over ten years.

영화에서 기대하지 못한 엔딩. 맘놓고 불쾌해할수 없는 우울함과 공허함이 남는다.

3.5~4점. 두 번 볼 생각은 없음.

중반부터 매기를 보는 마음이 울렁울렁하다

Although I have never watched this movie, after reading the overview I feel like this would be a very good movie because it really attracts the viewer with its unique plot. First it's about a female boxer, which is unusual because females athletics aren't that widely accepted.

This is a very interesting movie to watch. Hillary Swank plays a very stubborn but kind lead character, who is very charming and is carrying the film most of the way through. Clint Eastwood is also captivating as her coach, with his pessimistic outlook on everything. The story is simple yet heartbreaking and is what really makes this film great.
