G.I.ジョー:漆黒のスネークアイズ

Although not 100% accurate to the source material, snake eyes embody the character's spirit entirely. The casting and writing of this film redeem the previous 2 G.I. Joe failures completely. This film has set the groundwork for The multi-movie franchise the true G.I. Joe fans have deserved! This film introduced quite a few characters within the Joe universe and left plenty of room for many great films to come. I wouldn’t call this is a must-watch, but it does deserve some level of admiration and respect. I particularly liked the fact that in keeping with the original spirit of G.I. Joe, snake eyes learned a valuable moral lesson throughout the film. Yo Joe!

The acting was good (even if there weren’t a lot of moments to showcase it) and the fights were good but the movie overall was very very mediocre. I think they had a chance to tell a really impactful origin story here but that’s definitely not what happened.
