フランク・ホリガン（クリント・イーストウッド）は合衆国所属のシークレット・サービス・エージェント。一匹狼的な異端児で相棒は臆病なアル・ダンドゥレア（ディラン・マクダーモット）だけである。ホリガンは、ケネディ大統領がダラスを訪問した際に護衛を失敗に終わらせたことに深い自責の念を持っていた。大統領（ジム・カーリー）の再選キャンペーンがスタートしたところに、大統領暗殺の脅迫が届いた。やがてホリガンは殺し屋ミッチ・リアリー（ジョン・マルコヴィッチ）が大統領の行動を監視していることを知った。さらにミッチはJFK警護に失敗したホリガンの過去を知っていて、電話で彼に挑戦してきた。

Although this movie is pretty old, I consider it a classical type of movie. It still draws you in with its thriller methods and it is still pretty interesting to even this date. I highly recommend this movie because it can give you a perspective that you won’t see nowadays.

When presidents get assassinated, I feel many lack to acknowledge the servicemen who were in charge of protecting him. Besides the fact that the famous great actor Clint Eastwood is in it; I an assume this thriller/action/ drama lives up to my expectations.
