ウィルは荒野の小屋で暮らしながら、人々の人生を画面越しに見ている。ある日、１人の人間が死んで、地上に新たな空きができた。ほどなくして数名の候補（生まれる前の魂）がウィルの元に現れる。地上で生を受けることができるのは選ばれた者だけ。ウィルは課題を出して適性を見極め、ふさわしくないと判断された魂は消えていく。選考期間は最長で9日間。候補の中には自由奔放なエマがいた。個性的なエマによって波乱に満ちた過去を直視させられ、ウィルは自らの存在を問うことになる。

This film was extremely well written and packed with powerful emotion. It proudly asks questions that most of us shy away from and forces us to face not only the pain of life, but to knowledge of its beauty as well. this film was a work of art oh that unfortunately very few people will get a chance to experience because of its limited release. If you can find a theater playing this movie, I highly recommend you go and see this movie immediately.
