I really enjoyed the first film, and the second was a great follow-on from it. The characters develop more, and you can see the consequences of the first one reflected in the second. From the first film, it is clear that War has broken out between the factions, and Tris attempts to root out the evil within her society. I really enjoy the fact that this film has a female lead who is the all-rounded individual being called 'divergent' and is the one who manages to keep her friends and family safe, although many secrets emerge on her quest for goodness.

I barely remember this movie, which just shows how good it is. It's just a cliche dystopian, action movie. There are hundreds of this kind of movie out there, especially that came out during this time period. Watch one of those films and save yourself the waste of two hours.

When reading the books I found the second book to be just as good as the first. The movie was really good. Not as good as the first but still a good comparison of the book. It is great to see the progression of tris and fours romance on screen

This is a very fun-filled movie that displays a very meaningful message. It shows that being different ultimately saves everyone and we as humans are not meant to only stay within one faction; we are meant to have a mixed set of attributes and traits. This movie is a powerful reminder that we need not limit ourselves by what others think of us but that we have the power to make our own lives.
