The Fighter features great music, engaging performances and a predictable, yet true story. There were so many great moments and I've never felt so much while watching a movie. I felt attached to the characters and hoping they would make smart decisions throughout the entire film. If a film can get me to care about the characters, it's definitely got my approval.

I had doubts that this movie could top Rocky, but it went above my expectations. The good thing about fight movies is that there doesn't need to be a bunch of extra drama thrown in- this just feels like a very real movie and is refreshing.

My favorite film from David O. Russell. From the casting to the boxing matches, to the chemistry of Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg - it’s a complete film. This is a film that I feel like does not have many flaws, if any at all. It gives you a spectrum of emotions and makes you feel like you’ve experienced something with the characters at the end.
