マイアミ。警官の職を失ったブライアン・オコナー（ポール・ウォーカー）は、ストリート・カー・レースで勝利して賞金を手にする。その直後、一斉取締まりで逮捕。しかしそれは、ブライアンを再び囮捜査の任務に就かせようとする警察の意図によるものだった。今回の標的は、貿易商という表の顔を持ちながら、実は国際的なマネー・ロンダリング組織のボスであるカーター（コール・ハウザー）。ブライアンは幼なじみの前科者、ピアース（タイリース）を相棒に指名。ピアースは、捜査が成功すれば前科記録を抹消するという約束で、協力を承諾する。やがて二人は、首尾よくカーターのドライバーとして雇われる。カーターの愛人を演じている囮捜査官のモニカ（エヴァ・メンデス）も加わり、ついに、汚れた金を運ぶ命令がカーターから下った。

I do like this movie but the whole franchise is backwards and you never know which movie is the one that continues the next. I do love the racing scenes and just about every action scene. Filmed very well!

Not the best of the saga, but definitely full of action and excitement. Good performances by the cast and I personally liked the soundtrack. Worth watching if you are a fan or are interested in Fast and Furious.

A spin off from the original fast and furious series. This is more about Brian and his life prior to meeting his famila. It is still a great action car riding show that I recommend watching. Although it doesn't involve the fast and furious timeline.
