If you like nature documentaries, you'll love this. Somehow the directors turn the lives of penguins into an intriguing adventure of life and death. It is really fascinating to learn more about these animals and see all of the dangers they face.

I was reluctant to see this film. I'm not usually the first one to want to watch a animal documentary, but no regrets! Legit this film was so loving, but also tragic; being able to see into the hatch lives of the adorable Penguins. It's a must!

I really liked this documentary mainly because I love animals. I liked the idea of watching a flock of penguins while focusing on one family of penguins. I liked learning more about the life of penguins and the hardships and graces they go through during a year.

I thought that movie had a really interesting conceptualization, serving both as a documentary of an incredible slice of nature and as the almost personalized story of one penguin “family”. At once educational and heartwarming, this story will not fail to impress and inspire. It’s truly amazing to see what exists on our planet beyond what we can experience on our own, and this movie will certainly give you a new respect for the intelligence of nature.
