生まれた直後に、母親から捨てられたルイスは養護施設で育った。すくすく成長しながらも、母親への思慕が忘れられないルイスは、いつしか発明家を夢見るようになり、12歳で記憶を再生する画期的な装置「記憶スキャナー」を発明する。しかし、その「記憶スキャナー」は、謎の山高帽の男に奪われてしまった。そんな時、タイムマシンで未来からやって来た少年ウィルバーと出会ったルイスは、彼と一緒に未来へと旅立つ。そこでルイスが目にしたのは、シャボン玉のようなバブルや透明なチューブで場所を移動する夢のような世界だった。ウィルバーの奇妙なファミリーたちとも幸せなひとときを過ごすルイスだが、そもそもの目的は山高帽を捕らえることだった。

Pretty cute kids movie but again it would be something more captivated by kids rather than teens and adults. The movie has a unique plot and isn’t as generic as most kids movies are! The Robinsons are a quirky bunch and you learn more about each one throughout the film!

Meet the Robinsons is easily one of the best, most underrated animated films I've ever seen. The storyline is so unique and intriguing that would have anyone hooked. There are so many useful life lessons throughout this film and it is so heart warming.

The film is cute in its plot and visually interesting, but just wasn't among the best animated movies I have seen. Kids would probably get more out of this movie - including the jokes and music - than adults would, but I wouldn't watch it on my own again.
