ウェディング・シンガーのロビー（アダム・サンドラー）は結婚式の当日に花嫁（アンジェラ・フェザーストーン）に逃げられ、失意のどん底。一方、ウェイトレスのジュリア（ドリュー・バリモア）は結婚式を控えてマリッジ・ブルー気味。二人は友達として意気投合するが、ロビーがジュリアの相談に乗るうち、互いに友情を超えた思いが芽生える。彼女の結婚が一週間後に迫ったある日、ロビーは彼女の婚約者のグレン（マシュー・グレイヴ）の正体が、食わせ者のプレイボーイだと知る。ロビーは二人の乗った飛行機に飛び乗り、ミュージシャンのビリー・アイドル（本人）ら居合わせた乗客たちの応援を受け、自分の思いを歌に託して伝える。ようやく自分が本当に愛しているのが誰かを知った彼女は、彼の胸に飛び込んだ。

Another Adam Sandler stamped romantic comedy of the 1990s. "The Wedding Singer" is by no means original but I guess it was a sweet and easy watch. Even though I do not love the movie, I am glad it launched Drew Barrymore into the spotlight to bring her bigger and better things in the film industry.

In my opinion, Adam Sandler’s most underrated film. It really is a treat because it shows off his talents as a dramatic actor, as well as a comedic one, with a really well constructed 80s backdrop. I love this film and the chemistry between him and Drew Barrymore is truly believable.
