事故によりバレリーナの道を絶たれてしまったドミニカ（ジェニファー・ローレンス）は、母を守るために自分の意に反して、ロシア政府が極秘裏に組織した諜報機関の一員になることを決意する。自らの肉体を使った誘惑や心理操作などを駆使し、情報を盗み出す女スパイ＜スパロー＞になるための訓練を受けるドミニカ。やがて、持ち前の美貌と明晰な頭脳で頭角を現したドミニカは、ロシアの機密事項を調査するCIA捜査官ナッシュ（ジョエル・エドガートン）に近づきミッションを実行。ふたりのスパイは互いに惹かれ合いながらも、騙し合いの連鎖へと陥っていく……。

Although I love Jennifer Lawrence, and she was great in the movie, it wasn’t as good as I had expected. Although it has plenty of action, it seemed to me that there was unnecessary nudity and sexual scenes. The actual plot was very confusing to follow as well and I found myself lost halfway through the movie.

There are so many movies with a similar premise that are better than this. There is a lot of fairly graphic sexual scenes and also a number of sex scenes. None of which are great. Furthermore, the action sequences are fairly lackluster compared to similar genre movies like Atomic Blonde and Lucy to name a few who do it better.
