エディ（ジョン・キューザック）とグウェン（キャサリン・ゼタ＝ジョーンズ）は、映画スター同士の大物カップル。しかし1年半前、グウェンとスペイン人俳優ヘクター（ハンク・アザリア）の浮気が発覚してから、仲は冷えきっていた。そんなある時、グウェンの付き人をしている妹のキキ（ジュリア・ロバーツ）のもとに、映画宣伝マンのリー（ビリー・クリスタル）から、エディとグウェンの最後の共演作『時を超えて』のプレス・ジャンケットに、グウェンが出席するよう説得してほしいという電話が入る。

"America's Sweethearts" is the story of a celebrity's assistant who has to help a famous couple maintain their outward reputation during a messy breakup. The plot has the potential to be funny, but it just isn't that entertaining. The scripting was also disappointing for the potential of the cast.

From reading the description, I can see that there will be a lot of drama involved. Hopefully it’s not too much going on that it won’t get my attention and have me stray away onto my phone. I’ll definitely give it a try though!

Though I'm a fan of many old films with John Cusack, this one failed to grab my attention. A very predictable film, that doesn't even have something to make you connect with a single character.
