Not very funny or impressive. It is very predictable- the loser turns hero cliche is strong here. It relies very heavily on dumb comedy, which if you enjoy mindless jokes, then this would be your cup of tea, but I prefer more witty humor.

This is a very dumb movie. It has dumb humor, a dumb plot, and a dumb main character. Still though, it made me laugh, which is all I want from a comedy. The slapstick comedy, I think is pretty good, and Adam Sandler is doing a fine job. If you like being an idiot once in a while, go for it.

This movie is one of the top 3 comedy performances of Adam Sandler’s career despite what the critics have said. If you are a fan of sports and comedy, then this is the perfect movie to watch for 90 minutes of good laughs.
