天才科学者フィリップ（ロビン・ウィリアムス）は透き通った緑色のゼリー状で弾力を無限に増幅する夢のエネルギー物質「フライング・ラバー」略してフラバーを発明したが、研究に没頭するあまり大学の経営者サラ（マルシア・ゲイ・ハーデン）との三度目の結婚式をすっぽかしてしまう。フィリップに愛想をつかしたサラはライバル大学の科学者クロフト（クリストファー・マクドナルド）とデート、今度のバスケの対抗試合で彼の大学が勝ったら、一緒に旅行することを約束した。フィリップはフラバーを利用して、バスケの試合を勝たせた。ふたりの仲を回復するが、そんなフラバーを悪用しようとした資産家のホーニッカー（レイモンド・Ｊ・バリー）とクロフトだが、逆にフラバーの力でこらしめられる。空飛ぶ車の開発し、経営危機に陥っていった大学を救ったふたりは南の島へ新婚旅行に飛び立った。

A good movie that has subtle hints of what’s right and what’s wrong for the people watching to learn and relate to their own life. Has a very wide range of characters that lets us relate their actions to our own life.

I wanted this movie to be good- I really did. Im a fan of Robin Williams and his humor but this movie just feel really far short of my expectations. It is a silly movie and maybe children will enjoy it but for anyone that is looking for a more complex plot, prepare to be disappointed.

One of the movies I ever watched (or at least I remember). Watching in a second time was exciting. Maybe visual effects are not as I remembered, but the movie is funny and engagin. Love it!
