I’m happy that this remake was actually not bad. Most people can’t hit the mark with remakes but this one was great and kept that original song everyone knows but with a modern twist! Love how they modernized it more to suit the tastes of kids in our time. Great family movie.

I remember watching the original "Annie" movie as a kid - many times. Although this movie has mixed reviews, I'd definitely still like to see the musical/movie acted through other actors in a more modern setting. The story is a classic and I feel like a new rendition would still be timeless.

Honestly, I was a little worried about this remake. How could I not be when the original Annie was such a huge part of my childhood? But this remake makes the story modern and it is just a joyful as the first one. It brought back childhood fun for me which is always a nice experience. Do not let the fear of remakes make you miss this wonderful movie!
