A part of me will always despise this film for practically ditching its far more interesting source material, and wrote the ending to be the complete opposite of what the authors' original intention was. But if I put that aside, the film is not that bad in itself. Will Smith does a fine job as always. The new story is tired and cliché but is at least solidly put together.

Simply mind blowing. Adopting a philosophical approach towards the relationship between men and robots, this action movie feels like a roller coaster: it will terrify you while enjoying the ride (storyline + visual effects). Of course Will Smith never disappoints. The movie is a must watch

One of Will Smith’s great underrated movies, he shines in I Robot as this serious detective who doesn’t trust technology and eventually learns that things need not be black and white, that oftentimes lines get blurred and behavior is all about perspective.
