I have never seen this movie and really want to because I really loved the other two movies

Of course Gru and his loving wife is not my favourite part of the movie "Despicable Me 3." Of course my favourite part of the movie is not even the plot to save the world from a far greater enemy. Take one guess as to why I enjoy this franchise... The main source of humour... The main source of fantastical adventure... Of course it is the minions! Minions truly make this franchise and the third installment in the series has me thinking that if these trusty little helpers of Gru's were to disappear that the movie would not have received such high praise.

I can't believe a Despicable Me 3 has already come out but I've watched all of them. I felt like the third one is the least worth watching compared to the first and second one, but I love minions so I would watch it regardless. In this movie, Gru discovers his long-lost twin brother for the first time and they both work together to take down an evil villain.

I really enjoyed this film, and I liked it probably more than the first. The same lovable characters are included in the film, but they also added in a few extras and Gru's girlfriend is also a permanent feature in the film, along with Gru's long-lost brother. Gru must work for the forces of good instead of evil, and work alongside his brother in order to achieve the same goal. The girls are just as cute as before, but their characters do develop. I really enjoy the animation in the film as well and the creativeness that the producers manage to create. It's also quite rare to find a film that appeals to both children and adults, but I think that it really is meant for both audiences. The minions find themselves in trouble as usual, but that also adds to the fun and keeps a continuous theme running through all the films.

For people who enjoyed "Despicable Me" to begin with, this movie might be entertaining, even fun. Perhaps because I just wasn't in love with the first one (I never saw the second), this movie failed to impress me. It just didn't seem to have much of a substantial story line.
