Although the romantic comedy "He's Just Not That Into You" was filled with such a vast and star-studded cast, the same could not be said to the plot and the characters that they portrayed. If you were to mirror this movie to "Love Actually" you will realise that the main thing this film lacked was character exploration and so audiences just received vague stereotypes which ultimately led to a plot fit for disaster and disappointment.

Another romantic comedy with many well-known actors. He's Just Not That Into You is nothing spectacular, especially in a cinematic sense, but it's still a fun movie that is entertaining to watch. There are some comedic parts (some that land, some that don't) and the film overall is pretty enjoyable.

I've found that films with a similar style that Love Actually set out don't tend to work nearly as well. However, this film is fantastic. You really feel connected to each of the characters, whether you think them good or bad. I also like the fact that all the characters are entwined in some way, which makes for a really interesting and enjoyable watch. The film follows almost a feminist point about how you're told as little girls that if a boy pretends not to like you, that means he likes you, which is clearly a detrimental belief when you grow up and someone has to tell you 'he's just not that into you'. There are a series of relationships that the film follows, from infidelity within a marriage, to friends who fall in love. It is well-worth a watch.

One of my favorite romantic comedy’s! The movie is based on a few different characters who are each going through their own problems. All the problems are realistic, well thought out, and captivating. Highly highly recommend watching this movie, it’s not your typical chick flick! May not be suitable for kids.
