In keeping with its predecessors, "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs"presents really excellent animation. That much is sure to grab the attention and approval of kids, but unfortunately any sort of plot that could keep parents interested just fails to show through.

This is possibly my favourite of all the Ice Age movies. I think it's really clever to weave in history such as the Ice Age and the idea of finding a lost kingdom of dinosaurs. I think by this point the audience are kind of bored with the characters that we already know, so by introducing new ones, it makes for a much more interesting film to see how they interact with the other characters. There are plenty of dinosaurs throughout the film that at first tend to scare and try to eat the animals, but, they then form an unlikely friendship in order to achieve a common goal.
