Typical lousy sequel.

This sequel to the original Madagascar movie was actually pretty good. In fact, I think it was better than the first one. The story is continuously entertaining and funny. Some of the parts that were slightly annoying in the first movie (such as the songs) reappear, but the story line makes up for that.

Although I have never watched this movie, after reading the overview I feel like this would be a very good movie because it involves the zoo animals to going back to their home country. They're going back to Africa, a place where their ancestors originated from.

A great addition to the saga, Madagascar managed to be as fun and entertaining as its prequel. Characters are still very diverse among them, but this time they will find their own species. Ultimately, the tale of how different animals join for a common cause may not very innovative; yet the way the story is developed will make you have a good time.
