수갱5.0내재되어 있던 야먕이 샘솟고 반드시 성공할 거라는 자신감과 결심이 서는 작품. 중독에 빠지고 폐인이 되고 그것을 극복하는 모든 과정과 그 과정에서 주인공이 겪는 생각과 심리의 변화들이 무척 현실적이고 적나라하게 표현되며 공감된다. 어린나이에 뭣모르고 마약을 접한 후 거기에 의존하게 되고 이후에는 알코올중독에 빠지는 주인공의 순진하면서도 약한 모습이 매우 현실적이었다. 동시에 그로 인해 그녀가 지니고 있는 천재성과 능력이 충분히 발휘되지 못하고 폐인처럼 지내는 모습 역시 공감되면서도 안타까웠다. 그렇지만 결국 주변 사랑하는 사람들의 도움을 받고 일어서고 본인을 펼쳐내는 모습이 너무 위로되었다. 화려한 색감과 패션 등 보는 재미도 압도적인 작품이다.가장 먼저 좋아요를 누르세요댓글0

I don't know why I picked this when it showed up in my recommended, but I'm definitely glad I did. The story is simple yet unpredictable as the plot line skips all the hand-holding most shows do from the beginning, giving me this confused intrigue to jump to the next episode. Because you're unaware of what kind of show this is, what it wants to be, and what vibes you should actually be getting, it almost creates a genre of it's own. Beth is a great, (at least from my standpoint) autistic-coded female who needs no apologies. While cinematic attempts to show people at their "worst" are up for debate, there is no doubt her character's disconnect will resonate with some viewers as she carries this story.
