Absolutely brilliant. A perfect adaptation of Conrad’s “Heart of Darkness” and a well timed piece of film history. The first half immerses you in the horrors of Vietnam while getting you used to how things really were there. Then the second half turns even the horrors of war on its head in a surprising and disturbing sequence of events. Truly a must watch.
