If you ever watched the old version of Godzilla, you may have expected something completely different. taylorhenne3.0A really great improvement for the monster film genre. It really did a number on the theater I went to see the film at. I just remember the crowd screaming so loud when we first see how large the creature is. From the archival opening credits to the shots of the soldiers jumping out of the planes and gliding on their flysuits, I was thoroughly impressed. The special effects were obviously better than the older versions, but I found myself losing interest towards the end of the movie.
