With such a talented female cast, it was a shame that the plot was predictable for this comedy. Yes, it was very tongue in cheek and you could tell all the mothers wanted to do was have fun BUT it definitely lacked in the wow factor department! I think the movie would have been a better success had it been brought out in the 90s rather than a recent movie.

I can see where some viewers might find this movie funny at parrts, but it just seemed kind of over-the-top obscene and portrayed all of the characters in the extreme negative. I don't see how this movie is representative of mothers in the slightest.

This isn't your stereotypical film about housewives and their mundane lives. It's much more fun, a woman who works is severely judged for it by the head of the PTA so she decides to run against her. She runs her campaign on just the opposite of her competitor, she believes that it's so hard to put pressure on yourself to be a good mother, that instead they should all just accept the fact that they're bad mum's and just have fun!
