Horror is one of my favourite genres and I cannot help but be slightly bored by "Annabelle." I thought "The Conjuring" was absolutely incredible so maybe I got too excited for this movie! Yes, a demonic child's doll is still a creepy concept but it just felt like something was missing. If anyone were to compare Annabelle to Chucky, she seems diluted and mild. The movie had the perfect opportunity to be as terrifying as possible but it just felt like, at times, the script dragged out the plot in moments of suspense to be resulted as anti climatic. Although, despite the negative comment, I adored the music and I think it saved the genre type.

Annabelle is one of the scariest movies I have ever seen; I left the movie theater in tears. The movie had so many twists and turns that constantly had me paying attention. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone that loves the Conjuring series, or just loves horror in general.
