The hardest I ever laughed at the movie theater was to Borat. My siblings and I watched it with our Dad, and to our surprise, have never heard him laugh so loud in our lives. We all left the theater in tears from laughing so hard. The scenarios that Sasha Baron Cohen sets up for Borat to infuse his uber foreign mentality to very American situations/customs.

His film is very funny. Not children appropriate. I’ve only watched it once many years ago and I remember it being very funny and entertaining but also a little cringey because of the main character but I do believe that was the intention of the director. I would watch it as a light movie to laugh at

Sasha Baron Cohen produces very tongue in cheek humour with a script that audiences have to take with a pinch of salt! In this documentary style comedy, Kazakh journalist Borat Sagdiyev travels to America to meet real people in their real lives. Borat leaves viewers absolutely hysterical at his brutal, backward honesty and absolutely ridiculously idiotic ways. You will find yourself ironically quoting this comedy after watching!

This is genuinely the funniest film I've ever seen, but if you're easily offended or don't appreciate very dry and sarcastic humour, don't bother giving it a watch. It follows the story of a 'documentary maker' from Kazakhstan and the differences he learns between his home country and America. However, Sacha Baron Cohen, who pretends to be Borat gets real reactions from people who aren't actors, which then obviously leads to very funny and real reactions from the American public. For example, he's staying at someone's house and pretends to not know how to use the toilet, so poop's in his hands and attempts to give it to the homeowner- what would you even do in that situation?! I think she handles herself much better than I would!

First off, Borat is a mockumentary type of film and contains many crude and offensive jokes. The movie follows Borat, a man from Kazakhstan, and his journey in America. The film is full of jokes and stereotypes, but has many funny moments and a rather good storyline. For those who are particularly sensitive and don't like offensive jokes, then this isn't the movie for you.
