After watching the first series of the comedy series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," I could not help but feel the overriding taste of disappointment in my mouth. From previous reviews and comments, I expected to be rolling on the floor with laughter but the elements of humour just felt mild. It is such a shame because I am usually a fan of The Lonely Island legendary Andy Samberg. I just could not find myself to love this series.

This show is just brilliant in every way. From its amazing comedy told by its cast of amazing comedians. To its feel good storylines that have some of the most quotable scenes. It also has one of the best cold openings in all of sitcoms. But it's really the cast that makes this show. If the actors didn't do so much with their characters it would have flopped. But they all bring something special to the show that really shines through. There's a reason why people fought to save this show. It's just pure awesome.

The laid back and hilarious comedy style that Andy Samberg and crew bring to this show is what makes it one of the top comedies airing on the TV. A wide variety of characters with colorful personalities and their own sense of humor create the perfect comedic atmosphere.

This show is so effortlessly hilarious and never fails to leave me with a smile on my face. On days that I'm feeling down and need a pick me up, this is my go-to show that instantly puts me in a better mood. At first, I wasn't totally into the show and took me a couple episodes to truly appreciate the humor and style of it. But after a couple episodes, I completely fell in love with the show and its cast. The chemistry between the cast and characters is truly unbeatable and makes you feel as you're apart of their group. The dialogue spoken between characters is so undeniably witty and is definitely entertaining for everyone that watches. The show centers around a police station in Brooklyn; not exactly the first place you think of for a comedy setting. But because of that, I think that's what makes the show so hilarious and enjoyable, simply because it's the last place you would expect to find comedy. If you watch this show and do not find it funny, then there is something wrong with your sense of humor. There are bits for everyone's taste of humor and is impossible to hate.
