The best film out there about having a pet, especially a dog that is basically like a family member. I don’t think anyone expected this film to be as popular as it became, but it became the staple dog movie of this century and a film that is constantly showing on re-runs. This is a tear-jerker.

Marley & Me is a great movie for all dog lovers and is a must watch. The storyline is an emotional rollercoaster that takes you on so many ups-and-downs; you will feel so many things after finishing this movie.

Marley and me follows the lives of a couple and how the dog is such an important part of their lives. They start with getting him as a puppy, before they got married as a test to see if they could both share responsibilities. This is then followed by the birth of their children, and so on and so on. The dog, Marley, gets into a lot of trouble, which then causes his owners to have to pick up the pieces. Since the dog is basically with them for the most important moments of their lives, he is a key member in the family and it's a really heartwarming film.
