엽서

사람 적은 변두리 우체국. 두 여직원의 유일한 낙은 날마다 우체국을 방문하는 젊은 남자를 보는 것이다. 어느 날 그 남자가 엽서에 사랑의 감정을 적어 접수시키고 여직원들은 서로 자신이 엽서의 주인공이라고 믿게 된다. 급기야 남자의 집을 찾아간 여직원은 진실을 알게 된다. (A post office clerk mistakenly thinks that a customer is trying to get her attention by writing open love letters on postcards he sends out. However, although he is trying to catch someone's attention with these missives, they are actually meant for another postal worker.)  연출의도. 2006년 홍콩에서 작업한 1부작 "순찰함"과 본 프로젝트 "엽서" 그리고 일본에서 촬영할 계획인 세 번째 영화까지 원래 3부작을 계획하고 있었다. 감독이 아시아의 문화에 대한 관심이 많았고 그에 대한 공부도 많이 했기 때문에 아시아에서 촬영을 하고 싶었다.(I grew up for 20 plus years in the West. So I have a general knowledge of Western culture, art and literature. I want to now grow my Eastern half. By making this film, and by working on an Asian trilogy (Hong Kong - Korea - Japan) I hope to facilitate this growth and explore more and discover things I hadn't found while I was living in the West.)
