"Bye Bye Birdie" is again another cheesy 60s film, but was super popular among the teen girls. This film is a musical chick flick that basically is supposed to be based off the event when the famous enough singer Elvis Presely was drafted to the military. Birdie is a famous singer that all the teen girls love and the main character blah wins a competition to sing a song sending him off to war.
