I loved the first Taken, I thought it was amazingly well done and touched on a real issue of young women being kidnapped and sold into the sex trade, which we don't often hear about. The ending was especially moving. However, this film is slightly repetitive and this time the wife is taken. So it's much more predictable, and doesn't have the realistic element that the other had. Despite this, it is still a good thriller if you're looking for something fast and full of suspense.
