This is one of the saddest, and romantic movies of our time. It follows a kind of Romeo and Juliet storyline of forbidden love, since she comes from a rich family and he, from a poor background. However, he is the one that struggles the most with this concept. The scenery for this film is absolutely stunning, and that scene in the rain on the boat is unparalleled in romantic movie history. During the entirety of the film, an old couple are also present narrating the story, which is heartbreaking, but I won't give any other spoilers away. It really is a film that everyone should see!
