One of the saddest and truest portrayals of life in this technology-controlled present and future that we live in. The film depicts a man’s relationship with his computer, so humanely tangible, but so artificially constructed. It’s heartbreaking, funny, and relatable. Modern classic.

Her is such a unique and strange film that you will never see anything like it again. The soundtrack and overall cinematography are astounding and tie together in perfect harmony. The plot is so basic and plain, but my interest was piqued the entire time. The most insane but realistic sci-fi movie I've ever seen and I highly recommend this to anyone.

As ridiculous as the love story in actuality may seem, this is probably one of the best and most realistic portrayals of those “ai taking over the world” cases. It dosent just mean AI infiltrates human security systems and manipulates humans to be under their labour control, but instead it’s taking a human’s emotion and convincing it of a false reality where relationships between human and ai can exist. An ai assistances purpose is to learn and uplift its human companion, which can blur the line between real feelings. Nothing in the relationship is real, that’s why it’s so good. Ultimately, once the ai is gone or glitching it completely destroys the human as if they are mourning the loss of a person. This would be more realistic than AI killing everyone physically, this is more emotional trauma.
