  Our intro features a trio of silly high school girls—all athletes—having fun on a road trip to a spooky location. The place has an absolutely ominous look and feel, thanks to the cinematography and sound design. They've arrived and are beginning their investigation/sightseeing adventure and not only does the place look super creepy, but it totally feels like trouble, and I’m getting excited for the upcoming scenes.   Now, we’ve got some paranormal action starting with one character. Even now, she is feeling and seeing activity once again, and it’s spreading beyond our three primary characters. The practical effects are enhanced by our actors' performances; even without the CGI so popular now, the film is an excellent entry into the J-Horror archives. Things are going horribly for all our characters as the film moves on. I think it’s time they let us in on the exact story, legend, or curse the phenomenon is based upon to help save at least one of them.
