두 발로 걷는 말

가난한 소년의 꿈이 담긴 이야기. 그는 가족의 생계비를 벌기 위해 다리를 잃은 소년을 돌보게 된다. 하루에 1달러씩을 받고 소년은 매일 다리를 잃은 소년을 학교까지 통학시켜주기로 한다. 말을 타고 싶어하던 다리를 잃은 소년은 가난한 소년에게 진짜 말이 되게 하고, 가난한 소년은 좋은 말이 되고 싶어한다.(A boy wins the right to take care of another boy who can’t walk. In exchange for a dollar a day, the boy carries the disabled boy to school every day. But the hired boy doesn’t turn into a horse, as the disabled boy had wished.)
