The fact that the comedy is about death is such a disturbing and hilarious choice that ultimately made the television series a cult classic. I adored the fact that the television series introduced the idea that women do not have an expiry date after marriage (a common misconception within society.) The sarcastic comments and lovable relationships between Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia cannot help but make you smile.
